With a heavy heart we announce the passing of our dear friend, colleague, and partner, Ed Powers, who passed away after a long illness on May 11, 2025. Ed was a kind and gentle soul who we will miss greatly. A lawyer’s lawyer, Ed was often called upon by lawyers in the Firm for guidance on ethical and other legal issues. His door was always open, and he guided both clients and us with patience and grace. We were all better for Ed’s wisdom, humanity, and his high sense of purpose. Ed was not only an extraordinary partner, but he was also a wonderful friend, husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Leslie Powers, and his four children, Natalie, John, Andrew and Jamie.
